A Baltimore police commander, Major Kimberly Burrus, has been suspended following allegations of theft.
She’s under investigation for using funds from a non-profit she started to pay for a trip to Europe. In the court proceedings, Major Burrus admits to using funds from the non-profit to pay for tickets to Europe. She stated her personal card wasn’t working, so she used the organization’s funds.
