The saga continues in the Bill Cosby sexual assault scandal. Over a dozen women who accused the comedian of inappropriate sexual behavior shared their stories on the A&E special, Cosby: The Women Speak. Amongst those featured were actress Beverly Johnson, former model Beth Farrior, former Playboy model Sarita Butterfield, and comedy writer Joan Tarshis. Some of the other women who were interviewed preferred to remain anonymous. “His intentions were to prey on me,” said Farrior. “I’ve never gotten over it.” Read more.


President Obama to Ease Cuba Embargo

The White House is reportedly creating regulations to reduce the U.S. trade embargo in Cuba. The regulations would ease limits on U.S. companies and allow Americans to safely visit the country. For the first time in over 50 years, U.S.-based companies would have the opportunity to build offices in Cuba. “These are the most comprehensive expansion in U.S. trade and investment regulations with Cuba in decades,” said John Kavulich, head of the U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council. “The result will be an exponential increase in interest towards Cuba by U.S. companies and pressure upon Cuba by those same companies to permit access to the marketplace.” Read more.


Doritos Goes Colorful For LGBT Community

Frito-Lay has taken a major stand in showing camaraderie with the LGBT community. They recently teamed up with the It Gets Better Project to release a limited edition bag of rainbow Doritos. “Doritos supports the bold lives our fans lead—all of them,” said the company in a statement. All of the proceeds made from the colorful Doritos will go to the It Gets Better Project. The non-profit was created to prevent suicide amongst LGBT youth. Read more.
