There was an assault that happened at Lombard and Howard Streets on Friday at about 2 p.m.A Baltimore man was severely beaten by a group of men in broad daylight on the streets of downtown Baltimore.
Witnesses standing by say they were stunned and called for help and
told police at least four, maybe five men attacked 32-year-old John Mason on the street and beat him nearly unconscious, causing multiple skull fractures. Police say he was beaten so badly, they don’t believe he’ll remember details about the attack.
