This past Monday the official public swearing in ceremony took place for Anthony Batts as the new Baltimore Police Commissioner. Batts was the former police chief of Long Beach and Oakland in California. To read more click here:

The city recently announced that since 2007, juvenile homicides are down drastically. According to Mayor Blake, juvenile homicides in the city have gone down drastically. Juvenile murders have been cut in half and juvenile shootings have gone down ever more. To read more click here:
