The man accused of killing his wife then blaming it on a panhandler goes on trial Monday.
Keith Smith, 52, of Aberdeen, is charged with the stabbing death of his wife, Jacquelyn Smith.
Smith’s daughter, Valeria Smith, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact in the murder of her stepmother in September.
