A 34-year-old man is behind bars for allegedly shooting a victim on Fayette Street earlier this month.
Police arrested Jamie Vaughn of the 2000 block of Braddish Avenue without incident.
They say he shot a 36-year-old man on the 1400 block of West Fayette Street on April 2. The victim remains in the hospital.
Vaughn has been transported to Central Booking where he was been charged with first degree attempted murder. He is waiting to see a Court commissioner.
