Residents in north Baltimore gathered for a community meeting concerning city water bills Tuesday.

This, after the city’s board of estimates passed DPW’s controversial proposal to raise rates by nearly 30 percent over the next three years, starting July 1, 2019.

Money from the increase is expected to fund projects and repairs to the city’s aging infrastructure.
