A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire Baltimore area, except the eastern shore which is under a winter storm watch, through 7pm Wednesday evening.
Accumulations will be about 4-8” with a coating of ice on top, before the switch to rain.
Snow emergency plans are in effect in the following counties: Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, Frederick, Allegany, Garrett, Washington, St. Mary’s, Montgomery & PG.
