The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down Thursday afternoon near Glenelg, making it the second tornado in Howard County in a week.

The conclusion was based on credible video confirmation and a solid radar signature. The tornado touched down at 3:22 p.m. Thursday, around the same time as the previous tornado.

And fortunately again, there were no lives loss. Residents are cleaning up after the strong storm moved through the area and are thankful the damage isn’t worse – just some limbs snapped away from trees, and some siding was ripped off of homes.

Prayers up for everyone! Be safe!
