A jury found Dawnta Harris guilty Tuesday for the killing of Baltimore County Police Officer Amy Caprio.
Harris ran Caprio over with a stolen Jeep last May while trying to flee a crime scene. The 17-year-old faced five charges in total. Here’s the verdict on each count:
- felony murder (guilty)
- first-degree burglary (guilty on one count, not guilty on the second count)
- fourth-degree burglary (not guilty)
- theft (guilty)
