On Thursday, Governor Larry Hogan met with TSA agents at BWI, “This shutdown is impacting the security of our nation, it’s impacting the economy of Maryland but, most importantly it’s impacting the lives of tens of thousands of our Maryland citizens.”
Friday’s protest is expected to run from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Similar events have already taken place at airports in DC, Detroit, New York and other cities nationwide.
The governor told airport workers and reporters that he’s keeping the pressure on President Donald Trump and congressional leaders of both parties.
