Researchers at Johns Hopkins University found less than one third of households with children safely store their pain medication.

Opioid pain relieving medication is highly addictive – and potentially deadly.

Researchers found the worst offenders were parents with children between 7 and 17 years old: Only 12% admitted they safely stored their opioid pain relievers.
