Legendary Motown singer Jimmy Ruffin has died. Ruffin, who was the older brother of Temptations lead David Ruffin, was best known for his hits “Hold on to My Love, “Gonna Give Her All the Love I’ve Got,” and his most acclaimed, “What Becomes of the Brokenhearted,” a Top 10 pop song. “Jimmy Ruffin was a rare type of man who left his mark on the music industry. My family in its entirety is extremely upset over his death. He will truly be missed,” daughter Philicia Ruffin said on behalf of the family in a statement. “We will treasure the many fond and wonderful memories we all have of him.” Ruffin passed away in a Las Vegas Hospital earlier this week.
