Foxbaltimore.com is reporting a patient at Howard University is being monitored for Ebola.

University Spokesperson Kerry-Ann Hamilton had this to say:

“We can confirm that a patient has been admitted to Howard University Hospital in stable condition, following travel to Nigeria and presenting with symptoms that could be associated with Ebola.”

Symptoms of the virus include:

fever greater than 101.5 degrees F, severe headache, muscle pain, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain and unexplained bleeding or bruising. Symptoms may appear anywhere from two to 21 days after exposure to Ebola.
