After several years out of operation, the Penn-Camden shuttle has officially resumed service as of Sunday, June 15.

The shuttle had been offline due to platform construction work by Amtrak. While the exact date service stopped remains unclear, the long-awaited return marks a big win for commuters and game-goers alike.

The shuttle now runs every 30 minutes, seven days a week:

  • Weekdays: 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sundays: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

During the service suspension, the Maryland Transit Administration offered a bus connection to Mount Royal Light Rail Station, or riders could walk the short two-block distance to Penn Station.

Now, with the shuttle back on track, riders have another easy and budget-friendly transit option in the heart of the city.
