The Ministers March, which is scheduled for August 28 in D.C., is being organized to shed light on voting rights, access to health care, criminal justice reform, economic justice and more. It comes on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech and at a time where each subject is said to be at-risk under the Trump Administration.

For Sharpton, he says Baltimore is at the center of what the march is about. Dozens of local Christian leaders were in attendance to hear why the country needs their support.
