Maryland has received steroid injections for back pain which is associated with a rare meningitis outbreak that Health officials say have sickened 26 people in five states and Maryland is one of the states. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are meningitis cases in Maryland, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina unfortunately Virginia and Maryland had one death each.
