My career started in 2000 as the Managing Editor of my college newspaper and literary magazine at Penn State University where I earned a bachelors degree in Communications, focus in Broadcast Journalism. I possess 10 years of experience writing for local publications and magazines including the Afro-American Newspaper and Trends Magazine. After working in radio in State College, Pennsylvania I continued on to further my career in pursuing a masters degree in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. I completed my masters in 2011.

Baltimore City legislators want assurances that a future casino near M & T Bank Stadium will not be hurt financially by a new casino at the National Harbor in Prince George’s County.
Ten legislators met today at City Hall with Governor O’Malley, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and House Speaker Michael Busch. The Speaker told reporters later that one option calls for some gambling revenue to be set aside for Baltimore and Anne Arundel County. He says the idea is to hold Baltimore and the county harmless from revenue lost to a casino on the Potomac River.
