CHICAGO — Two men were killed and at least eight people were wounded in shootings around the city between Friday night and early this morning, police said.

A man — identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as 20-year-old Keneth Sims — was fatally shot in the back at 1:12 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Blue Island Avenue, police said. Sims was pronounced dead at 1:51 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, the medical examiner’s office said.
At 2:44 a.m., a police found a man shot in the head in the front yard of a home in the 5000 block of South Drexel Boulevard, police said. Ismail Robinson, 22, was dead on the scene, the medical examiner’s office said.
At least eight others were wounded in separate incidents, including a 17-year-old girl who was shot in the face, but was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police have yet to make any arrests.
