Baltimore City Schools is once again offering free meals to children across the city this summer as part of the 2025 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

Funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and overseen by the Maryland State Department of Education, the program ensures children under 18 can access nutritious meals, regardless of enrollment status, at participating sites.

Children and teens can receive both breakfast and lunch at designated schools and community locations throughout the city. While dates and meal times may vary by site, the program officially runs from Monday, June 16, 2025, through Friday, August 22, 2025. Please note that no meals will be served on the following closure dates: June 19, June 27, July 4, July 11, July 18, and July 25.

Families can find up-to-date information on all participating sites, including both school and non-school locations, by visiting www.mdsummermeals.org. Site listings are updated regularly, so it’s recommended to check back often or contact individual schools directly for schedules.

To view the meal menus for participating schools, visit www.baltimorecityschools.org/meals.

This initiative helps ensure that no child in Baltimore goes hungry during the summer break.
