Lightning struck twice in just three days for Maryland Lottery players in Baltimore County.

Two lucky Powerball tickets, each worth $1 million, were sold within 72 hours of each other: one in Parkville, the other in Catonsville.

The first winning ticket was drawn on June 2 with the numbers 1, 7, 44, 57, and 61. It was purchased at the Safeway located on Waltham Woods Road in Parkville.

Then, on June 4, another $1 million winner was selected with the numbers 5, 17, 23, 35, and 45. That ticket was sold at the Soda Pop Shop on Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville.

As of now, neither of the ticket holders has come forward to claim their prize. Winners have 182 days from the drawing date to do so.

The double win is part of a hot streak across Maryland. Just last week, three players from Annapolis, Elkton, and Silver Spring each won $1 million on scratch-off tickets.

And 2025 isn’t even halfway over — so far, 14 Maryland Lottery tickets have hit the $1 million mark or higher. The largest prize this year also came from a Safeway location.
