The Baltimore City Council wants to make it illegal for landlords to discriminate against potential Section 8 tenants.
Section 8 tenants say a law would make it easier for people to find housing and would increase the number of neighborhoods where low-income people can live.
City Councilman Ryan Dorsey introduced the bill on Monday along with 10 cosponsors.
This is enough support for the bill to possibly pass.
