A solider gave his 8-year-old son a yearbook photo to remember when he surprised him in the most adorable way possible.
Army Corporal James Bass surprised his son Joshua at his school on Tuesday in North Carolina, ABC News Denver reports. As the third grader posed for his yearbook photo, Bass can be spotted in the background making silly faces. Joshua doesn’t notice his father is there for awhile, until he turns around and joyfully leaps into his arms.

The sweet moment was caught on camera and gave everyone a major case of the feels when it went viral.
Bass was deployed for over a year and spent his last few months in Kuwait.
