WBAL is reporting that Kipp Harmony Academy and KIPP Ujima Village Academy are currently on lock down due to a potential intruder observed by students this morning.

KIPP Harmony Academy and KIPP Ujima Village Academy are currently on lock down due to a potential intruder observed by students this morning. Both schools used standard lock down procedures and every child is in a locked classroom. Doors will not be unlocked until the police have completed a full search of the building and confirm that the building is secure. The KIPP Family and Team’s first priority is the safety of each of our students. Students are doing an amazing job and are calm and secure.
Precautionary measures are being taken at Kipp Academy. Parents are asked to respond to Poly Western High School – media briefing shortly
