Gay Marriage Advocates Launch Petition

Marylanders for Marriage Equality, a coalition of organizations that back unions for same-sex couples, will host a series of community meetings. Within the meetings the organization plans to come up with steps to uphold the law passed last week making same-sex marriage legal in Maryland. The group has also launched its own petition to gather support for upholding the gay marriage law.
