Maryland State Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon said while more than 82% of childcare providers have reopened their doors, demand remains high due to virtual and hybrid learning. 

State officials said they are working to make sure the COVID-19 pandemic won't undo the work they accomplished over the past decade. 

Anne Arundel County, Frederick County and Baltimore City will not be increasing capacity, with the city remaining at 50%.

Under stage 3, indoor movie theaters, entertainment venues and all businesses can reopen. 

Schools that reopen will still need to follow physical distancing guidelines and should follow cleaning and disinfection guidelines set by the CDC.
