Baltimore City Police arrested a 20-year-old man as well as two teenagers who they said carried out two robberies and an attempted robbery Saturday.

Police said two people, one armed with a gun, got out of a car around 3:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Battery Avenue and took a 19-year-old man’s cellphone and ran off.

About a half hour later, a 43-year-old woman in the 1200 block of Riverside Avenue was approached by several people who tried to take her car. One of the assailants assaulted the victim with a BB gun before fleeing. The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Around 4:25 p.m., police believe the same assailants were involved in a carjacking in the 100 block of East Wells Street. Police said the assailants used a handgun to steal a Jeep Patriot.

Officers arrested two assailants at Randall and South Hanover streets. A short time later, officers stopped the stolen Jeep Patriot in the 2300 block of West Baltimore Street and a third assailant inside the vehicle was arrested.

Police identified the three people arrested as Aaron Scott, 16, Jaquante Lide, 20, and Troy Barnes, 16. They are charged with armed carjacking, attempted carjacking, theft and various assault charges.
