The Baltimore City School Board voted to support a bill in Annapolis that would allow city school police offices to carry guns inside schools. The legislation is House Bill 1373 and school board members voted 8-2 to support it.
The bill will allow school police officers to carry weapons on school property unlike the current law that states school police officers can carry their service weapons while patrolling outside school buildings before and after school hours.
