Chicago Assigns Extra Police Due To Threat Of Gun Violence Memorial Day Weekend

Authorities say on November 4 at 12:45 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were called to the 2800 block of Elgin Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Tony Anthony Mason Jr., an off-duty 17-year veteran/police sergeant from Washington, D.C., was sitting in a parked vehicle along with a second victim when they were shot. Both victims were transported to area hospital suffering from gunshot wounds and Mason later died of his injuries.
