If you were born and raised in Baltimore, you remember a class trip to the Blacks In Wax Museum as a child. But did you know the Blacks In Wax Museum was the very first wax museum in US History. The museum was founded in 1983 by the late Elmer P. Martin. Mrs. Joanne Martin continues to run the museum today. The museum contains over 100 life-size and lifelike wax figures.
