LOS ANGELES-Police shot and killed a man armed with a crowbar outside of a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Monterey, California. Police were called to the restaurant after reports that a man was breaking windows with a crowbar.

At first, police officers tased the individual, which resulted in the unidentified man approaching a police officer with his crowbar. Then another police officer shot the man five times. When the man fell down, another officer shot him five more times. The man was rushed to the hospital where he died.

KTLA reports:

One officer shot the man five times, and a second officer shot the man five more times after he fell to the pavement.

Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
