Marshalls is closing its doors at Mondawmin Mall.
According to Fox Baltimore, Marshalls’ last day in operation will be on January 12, 2019. The store is set to close for good at 6PM on that day.
A representative from TJX told the station: Our Marshalls store in the Mondawmin Mall, 2010 Gwynns Falls Parkway, in Baltimore, Maryland, is expected to close in mid-January 2019. We are always assessing and reviewing our real estate strategies, and our decision to close this store reflects that thinking. The store is approximately 21,000 square feet and began operations as a Marshalls in March 2011. We are grateful for the loyalty of our Baltimore customers, and believe they will continue to find great values at our nearby stores, including Marshalls locations at 600 East Pratt Street and 6700 Reisterstown Road.
The Target at the mall closed in February of this year. The space that occupied the store remains empty.
