The state of Maryland is pouring millions of dollars into the fight against heroin and opioid abuse.

The Governor’s office announced on Friday (July 7, 2017) that it’ll provide more than $22 million dollars into the effort across 24 jurisdictions – two million of which will be used to operate a 24-hour crisis/stabilization center in East Baltimore.
