Former Ravens Owner Art Modell Dead at 87.

former owner of the Baltimore Ravens has died.  Modell passed away early this morning at Johns Hopkins Hospital .

Modell bought the Cleveland Browns in 1961 and moved the team to Baltimore in 1996.  The team was renamed the Baltimore Ravens, and returned professional football to Baltimore City after a 13 year absence.

Art Modell was 87 years old.  His wife, Patricia, died in 2011.
