House Speaker Michael Busch has met with lawmakers to tell them to be prepared for a special session to expand gambling next month. The speaker met for more than an hour with lawmakers Wednesday afternoon. However, one legislator from Baltimore City says many issues have to be worked out first.
The plan will not only include a sixth casino, but would allow table games at Maryland’s five existing slots sites, including one in Baltimore City.
