Final votes are expected this week says Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller on Maryland’s decision to send the bill that could possibly legalize gay marriage to the full state Senate.
Just last week the Judicial Proceedings Committee voted seven to four to approve legislation passed in the House of Delegates.
The bill will allow gay couples to marry in civil ceremonies in the state of Maryland.
