Today, funnyman Tyler Perry celebrates his 42nd Birthday, but another year is only the beginning of his celebration.

According to new Forbes magazine tally, the list of the highest-paid men in entertainment is led by actor/director/screenwriter/producer/author Tyler Perry, whose films have grossed more than $500 million worldwide.

Forbes compiled the list based on the earnings of the men from May 2010 to May 2011.

2. Jerry Bruckheimer ($113 million
3. Steven Spielberg ($107 million)
4. Elton John ($100 million)
5. Simon Cowell $90 million
6. Author James Patterson ($84 million)
7. Dr. Phil McGraw ($80 million)

9. Howard Stern ($76 million)
10.Tiger Woods ($75 million).
