Jamal Parris, who accused Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion was arrested with suspicion of drug possession in Florida, where he was pulled over in a 2011 white BMW with no tags.
When the officer searched the vehicle, he found 181 grams of marijuana, 50 clear bags, a handgun and $1, 250 in cash.
In recent weeks, it was reported that Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, reached a settlement in his sexual coercion case. The amount was purportedly in the amount of $15 million.
Upon his arrest, Parris told the cop that he was accepted into Miami-Dade County. “You guys are getting the wrong impression of me,” he said.
