Through his show he plays an invaluable role in uplifting and facilitating discourse in our community. During the celebration of Larry Youngs 14 year anniversary with Radio One Baltimore many attended to help him celebrate. Some of those in attendance were Sprit 1400s Mike Roberts,92Qs Kelson, Jay Claxton, Lil Black, WOLBs Larry Young Morning Show Producer J.J., former NAACP President MarvinDoc Cheatham, Swaggnation CEO Ian Yearwood, Baltimore City Council President Benard JackYoung,Senator Catherine Pugh, Delegate Nathaniel Oaks, Senator Verna Jones Rodwell and many others to name.
There were guests who were awarded as in every year who are recognized as individuals, organizations, groups, or businesses who cares and shares with the community .Some of those individuals were Rev Harold Carter Jr., Rose Jones, Miss Maybelle, Bilal Ali, Verria Moore, Total Health Care Medical Center, former NAACP President Marvin Doc Cheatham and others. Great food was supplied by Culinary Innovations and Mos Seafood and Pasta Factory.The entertainment was supplied by none other than Miss Maybelle and Tree Travis Winkey & Co. and musical artist Kendall Leonard.
In all a great time was had by all and along with Larry young we all look forward to his 15th year.
